Lighting lives

On the eve of Diwali..

A young boy is taking a wounded dog to Blue Cross. A married woman is home alone. An old man gives a flower vendor little money. A mother is praying non-stop for a little boy who is fighting dengue. An American in the city is trying to place a well deserved local girl in his multi-national company. A working girl is shopping for a gift.

These are not scenes from a hyperlink movie, but live happenings in Chennai today as I know. As we begin to celebrate the festival of lights, let’s try to light somebody’s life. Sometimes all it takes is a little prayer with a lot of faith.

Happy Diwali!
