Pongal pun

Evening I had been to my neighborhood supermarket, which I frequent on an almost everyday basis. I am very familiar with all the counter girls in the past three years.

Today as I entered the store, Girl 1 wished me from far for Pongal. As I walked towards her to wish her in return, I had to cross Girl 2 and so I wished her first. This innocent action of mine, created a scene between them! Girl 1 was very annoyed I wished Girl 2 first, though she was the first to wish me and Girl 2 was very happy about it. And I felt very guilty for the unnecessary drama.
