Spreading happiness

After my morning debacle, I had to escort my dad to buy a mattress. The young sales girl at the store kept addressing my dad as ‘Appa’, meaning dad. Maybe it was just a marketing technique, anyway he made the purchase soon.

As we were leaving the store, I stepped back and whispered to her secretly.. that my dad had a budget of 5K only and ended up buying the 9K mattress only because of her ‘Appa’s.

Ofcourse it was a lie, my dad was too smart to fall for such petty tactics.. but it sure put a smile on her face. And as I stepped out into the sunshine, I knew I had made her day!
